It's that time again. For this round of Changing Face, the theme was "Vintage". So I was thinking something a little bit mod, maybe vaguely "Twiggy"-ish...? Anyway, as usual, I took way more pictures than I needed. So I thought I would share some of the rest.
Here is the one I used for the contest:
And here are a few more:

Another periodic contest I enter is called "Picture Perfect". Basically, the host of the contest describes what they are looking for and you have to present 3 pictures based on your interpretation of the theme. Generally this has been interior design, but theoretically it could be landscaping or other things. This round was called "Lazy Days" and the host was looking for rooms to lounge about in - recreation rooms, libraries, lounges. So, here is my entry, the {Wo}man Cave. The first 3 photos were my entry, but as usual, I end up taking too many. Haha!
EDIT: Apparently the embedded slideshow doesn't show up for some people (ipad/phone users). So here is the link to the slideshow.
I join in a bi-monthly avatar contest called, "Changing Face". Every two weeks, the hosts post a theme and you have to create a photograph of your avatar using that theme. This cycle's theme was "Avant-garde". Here is what I came up with using my avatar, Kamilla Savage. The first photo is the one one I used as my entry. The other two were just for fun.
Maxwell Bauer, of the Bridgeport Bauers, is a bookish young man with a natural talent for computers. He has an almost archaic sense of manners that were impressed upon him during his numerous visits with his Grandmother, Glorianna, at her summer estate in the islands. The only thing Glorianna values more than good manners is a thirst for learning - another trait she impressed on her grandson. During those summer visits, Maxwell also spent a great deal of time shadowing his Grandmother's handyman, Gerald. Gerald had an almost unnatural gift for fixing anything and everything and was more than happy to pass on much of his skills to his employer's grandson.
